The tenure of college recruiters appears to have increased considerably since 2016, according to NACE’s 2018 Recruiting Compensation Benchmarks Report.

The median tenure for the 253 incumbents covered in this year’s survey is 4.0 years. By contrast, the average tenure of recruiters was only 2.5 years in 2016.

Data from the survey on which the 2018 Recruiting Compensation Benchmarks Report is based were collected from June 5, 2018, until September 4, 2018. It was sent to 930 employer organizations, and responses were received from 229 member companies—a 24.6 percent response rate.
