    • Summary

      Join consultant Mary Scott in an exploration of how our long-standing focus on "high touch versus high tech" campus recruiting has evolved into a more nuanced matrix of "relationships versus transactions"—as assessed from the student's perspective. Using unbiased findings culled from current and historical SRG campus research, Scott will detail what students value—and WHY—as they consider potential employers. Spoiler alert: Although authentic relationships are absolutely key to successful engagement, the transactional elements of the recruiting process (in-person, hybrid and virtual) continue to have significant, measurable impact. The candidate experience matters, now more than ever.

      Career services and recruiting professionals are invited to attend and learn why students not only value authenticity in recruiting relationships but also during the transactional aspects of their job search.

      Following this program, you will be able to:

      • Understand how students measure the value, effectiveness, and impact of the relationship-building and transactional aspects of both in-person and virtual early talent recruiting: the new high touch vs. high tech;
      • Understand, on a comparative basis, how students across diverse populations assess the authenticity of the myriad early talent recruiting channels, platforms, and tools as they consider potential employers; and
      • Use unbiased data and expert analysis to determine their organization's optimal roadmap for future early talent recruitment delivery, by leveraging the best of relationship-building and transactional strategies, channels, and tools.
