It is the era of COVID-19 and career services programming has gone virtual. Zoom fatigue has settled into all industries and walks of life. Zoom meetings may not be able to replace everything offered through in-person events, but there is the opportunity to be creative with virtual programming. This session will explore a handful of in-person programming options that career services professionals can transfer to a virtual format in unique ways. All aspects of virtual programming will be addressed, including budget restrictions, employer engagement, and strategic marketing.
Following this program, you will be able to:
- Participants will be able to identify an in-person program that can be transitioned to a virtual format;
- Participants will gain an understanding of social media engagement strategies for students/employers; and
- Participants will understand best practices for virtual programming during a nationwide pandemic.
