    The Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) has started scheduling Vietnam Era Veteran Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA)-focused reviews, the agency has announced.

    OFCCP explains that during a VEVRAA-focused review, a compliance officer reviews policies and practices of a contractor related solely to VEVRAA compliance. The review includes interviews with managers responsible for equal employment opportunity and VEVRAA compliance as well as with employees affected by those policies.

    OFCCP says it also seeks to evaluate hiring and compensation data, as well as the handling of accommodation requests, to ensure that protected veterans are not being discriminated against in employment.

    OFCCP has also made several VEVRAA resources available for contractors, including:
