Summary

This webinar will introduce participants to the Chaos Theory of Careers (CTC) and one career center’s method for adopting it as a theoretical framework. CTC blends several theoretical and practical approaches, allowing career center staff the flexibility to address the challenges today’s students face by embracing unpredictability, complexity, and change in their lives and futures. Participants will be exposed to and gain insight into the relevance of this emerging theory and will leave with the tools and resources to bring CTC back to their campuses.

Following this program, you will be able to:

• Define key components of the Pryor & Bright's Chaos Theory of Careers;
• Articulate ways that the Chaos Theory of Careers can address the challenges college students and alumni face; and
• Identify resources for self-guided learning about the Chaos Theory of Careers.
