• Summary

  The 2021 NACE Student Survey marks a new and dynamic way for the NACE community to glean meaningful trends and insights from NACE research findings.

  With this survey, NACE introduces the 2021 NACE Student Survey Product Suite that includes an interactive dashboard, which enables users to manipulate data across a variety of parameters, as well as hot-topic briefs, which dive into compelling findings and provide recommendations for action. Take part in this webinar—free to NACE members—and learn how to use the dashboard to drill into responses from 15,000 bachelor's degree students nationwide to uncover the precise data you need to inform your decision-making about student and candidate engagement. You'll also find out about some of the survey's key findings and what they mean for you, your team, and your organization in working with and recruiting today's students.

  Following this program, you will be able to:

  Shawn VanDerziel , President & Chief Executive Officer, NACE

  As president and chief executive officer of the National Association of Colleges and Employers, Shawn VanDerziel leads the association of 16,000 college career services professionals, university relations and recruiting professionals, and business solution providers that serve the community. As a leading voice on the employment of the college educated and advocate for equitable outcomes for all students, VanDerziel is featured regularly as an industry expert and is a sought-after speaker on a range of topics, including internships, hiring, career readiness, and trends in the workforce and college job market. Prior to joining the NACE staff, VanDerziel was with the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago for 23 years, where he most recently served as chief human resources officer and as chief of staff. His earlier roles included corporate recruiting with Norrell Corporation and a position in higher education as associate director of student enrollment at National Louis University.

  

  Joshua Kahn , Associate Director of Research and Public Policy, NACE

  Josh Kahn is the assistant director of research and public policy at the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE). He earned his Ph.D. in educational leadership with an emphasis on quantitative research methods from the University of Oregon in 2018. His interests include using a wide-range of measurement and assessment techniques, strengthening systems and routines to enhance outcomes, and weaving together multiple sources of data to make informed decisions. At NACE, he helps run the research department by developing and administering surveys, analyzing data, and disseminating results to the membership and the press. Prior to earning his Ph.D., Kahn was a special education teacher in Eugene, Oregon, and the Bronx, NY.
