Across America, there is a growing talent pool of college-educated DREAMers with degrees in STEM. These DREAMers are multi-cultural and have an incredible work ethic and the motivation and determination to succeed. These students are eager to launch their careers and give back to the country that they call home. Throughout this session, participants will engage in content related to who the DREAMers are and their ability to work legally, what they bring to the workforce, and how one might access this growing talent pool.
Following this program, you will be able to:
- Hire DREAMers with DACA with a clear understanding of their legal rights to work;
- Access this growing talent pool through DREAMer friendly recruiting practices; and
- Effectively achieve post-pandemic equitable revitalization strategies by including DREAMers as a part of DEI strategies.
