    • Summary

      During this session, we will discuss ways that both companies and colleges can leverage short-term, professional projects to effectively recruit college students for summer internships and full-time roles during the COVID-19 pandemic. We will highlight strategies and best practices used by companies that expand access to students, build employer brand, drive diversity, and enhance conversion irrespective of students' return to campus in the fall. We will also share strategies for colleges to engage employers, alumni, and other stakeholders in ways that support employers and students alike.

      Following this program, you will be able to:

      • Prepare for fall recruiting irrespective of if student return to campus;
      • Examine ways micro-internships complement existing campus recruiting strategies; and
      • Explore strategies to engage alumni and other "friends" of an academic program to support students.
