NACE Briefs Hill Staff on Career Readiness, First Destination
On March 15, NACE staff and volunteer leaders briefed public policy makers, legislative staff representatives, executive department representatives, and leaders from a variety of higher education associations on the NACE Career Readiness and First-Destination initiatives.
Marilyn Mackes, NACE executive director, and Dawn Carter, 2015-16 NACE president, joined with Patricia Carretta, chair of the Advocacy Advisory Committee, and Christine Cruzvergara, co-chair of the 2014-15 Career Readiness Task Force, to detail NACE’s career readiness definition and competencies and offer an update on the national effort to collect and report graduate outcomes.
