Mackes Discusses Higher Education Legislation With Congresswoman Foxx

NACE Executive Director Marilyn Mackes met with U.S. Rep. Virginia Foxx, R – NC, in February 2015 to discuss Foxx’s bill to reduce regulations about higher education.
Foxx, who chairs the House Higher Education Subcommittee, is sponsoring H.R. Bill 970, Supporting Academic Freedom Through Regulatory Relief Act. NACE supports the bill.
Mackes, along with Ed Koc, NACE director of research, public policy, and legislative affairs, also discussed the Higher Education Reauthorization Act and NACE’s First-Destination Survey initiative with Foxx.
